2025 Nutcracker Ballet Performances

The Allen Civic Ballet presents its annual production of the holiday favorite

“Nutcracker Ballet”
December 6th & 7th 2025

At the Performing Arts Center at Allen High School located at:
300 Rivercrest Blvd. in Allen, Texas

Allen Civic Ballet 2025 “The Nutcracker” featuring guest artists Stephanie Rae Williams, Elias and Aneriz Re along with live music by the Allen Philharmonic Orchestra.

The evening begins with a spectacular night of merriment with family and friends. Then Clara’s toy nutcracker comes alive. After defeating the evil Mouse Queen in battle, he whisks her away to the magical Land of Sweets. Upon their arrival, they are greeted by the Sugar Plum Fairy who presents every imaginable confection. Enjoy the dances of the Snow Queen and her prince, the Arabian Queen and her handmaidens, the Spanish Chocolate and many more. It will truly be a night to remember!

These productions are partially funded by grants from the City of Allen and the Allen Arts Alliance.

Aneriz Re

Currently living in New York City, but originally from São Paulo, Brazil. She has performed for Connecticut Ballet, New York Theatre Ballet, Ballet Papillon, American Repertory Ballet, Cleveland Ballet and Cisne Negro Companhia de dança – Brazil. Her training is marked by Princeton Ballet School, School of Cleveland Ballet, RAD Royal Academy of Dance Examinations and others. Her favorite performances include the full length of “Coppélia” with Connecticut Ballet, A “Midsummer Night’s Dream” choreographed by Ethan Stiefel, “Cinderella” with New York Theatre Ballet, “Zulma” at the ballet “Giselle” and “Sugar Plum Fairy” both for Princeton Ballet School, the Arabian Dance at “The Nutcracker” with Cleveland Ballet and many more.

 

Elias Re

Elias was born in Milan, Italy and trained at the La Scala Ballet School, Sarasota Cuban Ballet School and the Escuela Nacional de Ballet of Cuba.
Professionally he has danced with the Dance Theatre of Harlem, American Repertory Ballet, New Jersey Ballet and the Cleveland Ballet.

His repertoire includes works by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, William Forsythe, Christopher Wheeldon, Geoffrey Holder, Stanton Welch, Robert Garland, Claire Davidson, Anna Rita Larghi, Gino Labate, Victor Alexander and Da’Von Doane and Ingrid Silva.

 

Stephanie Rae Williams

Stephanie Rae is proud to be dancing in her hometown of Allen, Texas! She began her training at Texas Ballet Theater School with Lyndette Galen and Fiona Fairrie. Prior to joining Dance Theatre of Harlem in 2010, she has danced with The Francesca Harper Project, ARC Dance Seattle, Complexions Contemporary Dance Company, Ballet Black, and Texas Ballet Theatre, where she made her professional debut. Repertoire includes works by Pam Tanowitz, Nacho Duato, Jose Limon, Helen Pickett, Arthur Mitchell, Donald Byrd, George Balanchine, John Alleyne, Dianne McIntyre, Darrel Grand Moultrie, Francesca Harper, Liam Scarlett, Robert Garland, and David Fernandez. She trained summers at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Springboard Danse Montreal, The Juilliard School, Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet, and Houston Ballet Academy. Ms. Williams received the 2017 Natalie Skelton Award for Artistic Excellence, was featured in Dance Magazine’s “On the Rise” in the August 2013 edition, and she was a Oprah Winfrey Fellowship recipient at the Ailey School, a 2006 National Foundation for the Arts Award Winner, a 2006 Youth America Grand Prix Finalist, and a 2004 Texas Commission on the Arts Young Master.
